The Standard at Reno is taking over the whole block from Center to Lake and from Sixth to Seventh, just below the university. The Standard will be high-rise, high-end student housing.
We won’t see what’s there much longer! So I went over and took some photos.

Haven’t seen much of Reno lately other than my own yard.
I have friends who live in a sustainable community. We took a Sunday morning walk in their neighborhood today.
It’s considered a ‘bad neighborhood’. What do you see?
A pretty little pocket park with slides, basketball courts, a view of the mountains, a creative mural and stately old trees. That’s what I see!
